A super quick shrimp stir fry with the aroma from Chinese leek, great to stimulate appetite in summer time.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Chinese leek
- 1 dozen shrimp
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- A pinch of salt and sugar

Cooking Steps
1. Put 1/2 lb Chinese leek in the water, soak, remove dirt, drain, repeat for 2 more times to fully clean the leek.
2. Cut the leek into 1//2 inch long pieces.
3. Get 1 dozen shrimp, remove skin and veins, rinse clean.
4. Heat a wok with 2 tablespoon vegetable oil using high heat, add the shrimp, stir briefly for 20 seconds, push the shrimp to one side of the wok.
5. Add the chopped leek, stir fry for 1 minute, add a pinch of salt and sugar, stir all ingredients evenly for 2-5 minutes or until they are just fully cooked.
