A delicious and healthy rice porridge breakfast that gets the sweetness from the yam, no sugar added.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sticky rice
- 1/2 lb yam
- 3 cups of water
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Cooking Steps
1. In a medium cooking pot, add 3 cups of water, 1/2 half cup of sticky rice.
2. Get 1/2 lb yam, remove skin, cut into 1/2 inch long 1/4 inch wide small pieces.
Add to the pot. Boil, then turn heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
Tip: Sweet potato is one great alternative.
