A traditional Chinese breakfast using sticky rice (糯米) and red Chinese Dates (红枣), which most Chinese grocery stores carry.

Cooking Steps
1. Use a small pot, add 1/2 half cup of sticky rice, add a few red Chinese dates (poke a hole in the dates to absorb water more easily), add 3 cups of water, boil.
2. Turn heat to low, cook for 20 minutes. Serve.
Scrambled Egg with Green Onion is a great quick companion for the breakfast.
