| Pan Fried Green Onion Pita (葱油饼) |
1. See Quick and Easy Dough for Chinese Pastry in 10 Minutes for how to make the dough.
2. Take one flat dough, spread chopped fresh green onion, sprinkle salt, cooking oil (1 tea spoon)
and flour (1 tea spoon) evenly on the flat dough.
3. Fold the flat dough horizontally and vertically.
4. Knead the folded dough to flat, repeat step 8-9 again (skip the salt this time).
Cooking Steps
5. Heat a flat non sticky pan (medium heat) add 1 table spoon cooking oil. Add the pita dough to the pan, cover the pan, let it cook for 2-3 minutes or until one side turns golden color, flip the pita to cook the other side for 2 minutes or until it turns golden color as well.
