Chinese Century Egg Salad with Sesame Oil


A super simple Chinese century egg salad with soy sauce and sesame oil, which maintains the original flavor of the egg.

Century Egg (or Thousand Year Egg) or Pi Dan (皮蛋) is a traditional food for Chinese people, it is available in Chinese grocery store.

Ingredients
  • 4 century egg
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • A few drops of sesame oil.
Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 4

Cooking Steps

1. Remove shell from 4 century egg, rinse with water.
2. Cut each egg into 4 or 6 slices, place evenly on a medium size plate.
3. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon soy sauce and a few drop of sesame oil on top of the egg slices.
