Chicken wing stew is very quick and tasty dish, this simple dish adds delicious oyster mushroom. It can be ready within 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 lb. Chicken wings
- 1/ lb. King oyster mushroom
- 3 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- A few slices of ginger
- 1 green onion
Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Cooking Steps
1. Get 2 lb. Chicken wings, marinate with 2% salt overnight for best result, if you are in a hurry, you skip this step.
2. Rinse off the salt from the wings, cut onto the wing joints to have separate pieces.
3. Add the wing pieces onto a non sticky wok, no overlaps, use medium heat, cover and pan fry for 5 minutes or until the bottom side turns light golden brown. Flip the wings to pan fry the other side for 5 minutes or so or until the bottom side turns light golden brown.
4. Add a few slices of ginger and 1 coarse chopped green onion to the wok, stir evenly for 1 minute or so, add 3 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sugar, stir evenly.
5. Get 1/2 lb. King oyster mushroom (available in most Chinese grocery stores), rinse briefly to remove dirt, cut into thin slices, add to the wok, stir evenly, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes.
