Boneless Beef Chuck Roast

I have tried roast pork recipes quite a few times, the resulting dish is very tender, juicy and tasty. Now it is time to try roast beef. I choose boneless beef chuck roast cut, because it is very economic and I like the fat inside the meat, which I belive will give more flavor to the final dish.

One key philosophy of many of my recipes is to keep the cooking process as simple as possible and cut down the cleaning effort afterwards. This recipe is no exception. The ingredients are so simple: beef, salt and pepper.

Ingredients
  • 2 lb. Beef chuck roast
  • 1.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation Time:  5 minutes
Cooking Time: 60  minutes
Servings: 4

Cooking Steps

1. 2 lb. Beef chuck roast, sprinkle 1.5 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoon black pepper evenly on all sides of the beef.

2. Place an alum sheet on baking pan, put inside tabletop oven, turn temperature to 375 F, bake for one hour.

Tip: baking for 1 hour will make the beef well done. Adjust the time shorter to have medium or raw meat.
