Red Braised Fish


Red braising is a widely used traditional way of cooking in China, Today you will learn a easy way to adopt this method to cook your own Red braised fish.

Required Ingredients:

Soy Sauce;
Garlic Powder;
Star Aniseed Power;
Ginger Powder;
Starch Pwder;
Rice Wine;
Granulated Chicken Flavor Soup Base Mix;
Chili;
Sichuan Pepper;

1. The very first step is to prepare the fish before actually cooking, and it is essential to get good flavor. In order to properly precook the fish, we need two spoon of rice wine, then mix starch powder and ginger powder and rub it all over the fish, then wait for approximately 20 minutes.
 

2. Add oil in a wok, then put chili and Sichuan pepper in after the oil is hot enough. When you start to smell the flavor of chili and pepper, add the fish in the wok and keep frying.
 

3. Mix those ingredient in a bowl: Rice wine, soy sauce, garlic powder, star aniseed powder, chicken mix together into the brown sauce. As soon as most part of the fish is fried yellow, pour the sauce in the wok.
4. Keep braise until the flavor is absorbed into the fish, then it is ready to eat!
