Cabbage Soup


One huge difference that I noticed about the differences between Chinese food and American food is that we have very varied way of making soups. In light of this, I would like to teach you a simple but delicious Chinese soup: the Cabbage soup. 

What you need for this soup:

Cabbage;
Chili;
Preserved egg;
Garlic powder;
Granulated Chicken Flavor Soup Base Mix;
Salt

1. Wash clean the cabbage, get rid of the root part, then cut as in the picture.
 

2. Heat oil, put chili in the wok, then add cabbage and stir fry for several minutes until it is soft.

 

3. Add just enough water in the wok. While boiling the cabbage, cut preserved egg into cubes and add in the wok.

 




4. Add garlic powder, chicken mix, and salt in the soup, keep boiling until it is eatable.
