Double Cheese Burger with Chips & Spicy Tomato Relish

I hope you're hungry, because this is a real filler. I'll be making Double Cheese Burger, Seasoned Chips & Spicy Tomato Relish. Delish!

SPICY TOMATO RELISH

1 tablespoon of olive oil

- 2 teaspoons ground cumin

- 2 garlic cloves, minced

- 2 small shallots, finely chopped

- 1 red chilli, finely chopped

- 1 celery stick, finely chopped

- 500g tomatoes, roughly chopped

1.) Prepare all of the ingredients ready to make your delicious spicy tomato salsa!

2.) Fry the shallots, garlic and chilli in oil for about 2 minutes.

3.) Once they start to brown, add the celery and tomatoes to the pan.

4.) Simmer for around 30 minutes until the tomatoes have fallen apart. Stir well and season before placing in the fridge to chill ready to serve with your succulent burgers and chips!

CHIPS

- 4 baking potatoes

- 1 tablespoon of sea salt

- 1 tablespoon of black pepper

- 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

- 1 teaspoon of garlic salt

- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil

1.) Grab your potatoes and poke them with a fork before placing on a baking tray. Put them in the oven for 25-30 minutes to loosen up. 350 Degrees/Gas Mark 4

2.) Get your spices and seasoning ready for when your potatoes are cut into chips.

3.) Remove your potatoes from the oven, leave to cool down for around 10 minutes. Cut your potatoes into chips, make them any shape you'd like too. Cover half of the seasoning onto your chips ready to fry.

4.) Add the oil to a pan on a high heat. Chuck your chips in and fry for around 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Add the rest of the seasoning to the pan whilst they are cooking.

BURGERS

- 1 pound of minced beef

- 2 egg yolks

- 50g oyster sauce

- salt & pepper for seasoning

1.) In a large bowl, combine the egg yolks, oyster sauce and seasoning, then add the mince and combine the mixture.

2.) Separate the mixture and create 8 beef balls - place these on a tray with greaseproof paper and cover them with paper also. Place in the fridge for them to set for around 10 minutes.

3.) Remove from fridge and flatten each ball into a burger shape.

4.) Take the greaseproof paper off the top of the burgers. Heat a griddle pan on high and add the burgers when you're ready (no oil necessary). Turn the burgers every 2 minutes for about 10-15 minutes or until you feel they're ready to eat (it really depends how well you like them done).

5.) To finish off your burgers - add beef tomato, little gem lettuce, cheese & streaky bacon for the full American experience...
