Ingredients:
- 1 cup of warm water
- 1 table spoon dry yeast
- 3 cups of general purpose flour

Cooking Steps
1. In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of warm water, add 1 table spoon dry yeast, stir evenly and let it sit for a few minutes.
2. Add 3 cups of general purpose flour, add to the water-yeast mix gradually, using a pair of chopstick to stir evenly.
3. Hand knead the dough together for a few minutes.
4. Divide the dough into 1 dozen smaller dough. To make smaller more delicate pastries, divide into 2 dozen smaller dough.
5. Use a rolling pin to make flat 3 inch diameter round wrappers.
6. The wrapper can be used in a varieties of traditional Chinese pastry, such as buns, dumplings, etc.
Once the buns are wrapped with fillings, let it sit for 10-20 minutes before steam.

If you need to make dough frequently, it is worth investing on a basic bread maker. It has "dough" menu, which is pretty easy to use. The steps are typically these:
1. Select "dough" menu on the bread maker.
2. Add 1 cup of warm water to the bread maker's container.
3. Add 3 cups of all purpose flour.
4. Put a dent on the flour, add 1 tablespoon dry yeast.
5. Start the bread maker, it will make the dough, let it go for 5 minutes, then stop the bread maker. Take the dough out, it is ready for making buns.
