Cooking Time: 60 minutes

Servings: 4

Cooking Steps

Prepare the Sauce
1. Get a small bowl, pour 1/3 cut soy sauce, add 4 tablespoon sugar, 1 teaspoon vinegar (preferably Chinese black rice vinegar), a few drops of sesame oil, 1 tablespoon chili flake, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 2 minced garlic, 2 fine chopped green onion.
2. Mix all ingredients evenly, stir the sugar until it dissolves.

Prepare the Pork Rib
3. Cut 2 lb baby back pork rib into individual pieces, add 2 tablespoon corn starch, shake and toss the ribs evenly. This will contain the moisture in the rib to keep the meat tender.

BBQ the Pork Rib
4. Sprinkle 1/3rd of the sauce evenly on the rib. Place the ribs on a alum foil, turn oven to 450F, broil for 15 minutes. Note: using 450F makes the BBQ process faster.
5. Flip the pork rib, apply 1/3rd of the sauce. Broil for 15 minutes.
6. Flip the ribs to cook other sides, apply the left sauce. Broil for 5 minutes.
Flip the ribs more frequently from now on, such as every 5 minutes, put the dry side on the bottom to be in touch with the sauce and juices to stay moist and absorb more flavor. Do this until the ribs are fully cooked, the juice comes out clear (no blood), this takes about 15 minutes.
7. Take the pork rib out of the oven, pour the juices on top of the rib, sprinkle roasted sesame seeds.
