Chicken Wing Salad with Green Onion



A simple and delicious chicken wing salad with green onion. Great for summer time.



Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken wing
  • 2 green onion
  • A few slices of ginger
  • A pinch of salt
  • A few drops of sesame oil

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Yields
4 servings of chicken wing
6 cup chicken stock (side product)

Cooking Steps

Prepare the Chicken

1. Clean 2 lb chicken wings, cut into each wing's joints to break each wing into 3 smaller pieces.


2. Boil a pot of 6 cups of water, add 1 coarse chopped green onion, a few slices of ginger, a pinch o salt (1/4 teaspoon).


3. Add the wings to the boiling water, boil, then turn heat to medium low, cover the pot, cook the wings for 10-15 minutes or until the wings are just fully cooked.


4. Take the wings out, let them cool down, place on large bowl or plate.






   Tip: The chicken stock of great broth for cooking other dishes, especially soup.

Make the Salad

5. Heat a wok with 2 tablespoon vegetable oil, add 2 fine chopped green onion to the hot oil, stir the onion, turn heat off, cover the wok, let it cook for 1 minute.

6. Pour the onion with the oil on top of the chicken wing, sprinkle salt to taste, mix the ingredients evenly.
