Stir Fried Rice with Egg


The simplest Chinese style stir fried rice recipe, using only eggs,  green onion, oil and salt, it does not even use soy sauce.

To add more flavor, add shrimp, pork slices or any meat/vegetable desired (choose the vegetables that do not have too much water, and control the vegetable portion, otherwise, the final dish could become too soggy).

Ingredients
  • 1 lb cooked fluffy rice
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 green onion
  • A pinch of salt and sugar
  • 4 tablespoon vegetable oil

Servings: 4

Cooking Steps

1. Have 1 lb cooked rice (preferably fluffy rice).
2. Break 4 eggs into a bowl, add 2 fine chopped green onion, one pinch of salt, whisk evenly.
3. Heat a non sticky wok with 2 table spoon vegetable oil, pour the egg onto the pan, stir for 2-3 minutes or until the eggs are fully cooked, take the egg out.
4. Add 2 table spoon vegetable oil to the wok, add 1 lb cooked rice, a pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar, the scrambled egg, 2 fine chopped green onion, use medium heat to stir all ingredients evenly for 5-10 minutes.
